Isa sat near a lake in the gardens of the temple where she lived. It wasn't her birth place, her brother and her father lived elsewhere, but she was kept at the temple. She never complained, of course. It was a luxury that most people didn't have, so even though she missed her family most of the time she didn't look down on the gift life had given her.
She Looked over to the two guards that were with her in the garden. They were her constant protectors, to make sure that she was never harmed. She was, after all, a gift to the phoenix's. They were talking amongst each other and snickering, standing off to the said and engaging in conversation about the lack of woman in the temple. She sighed, a bit bored, standing up and walking to the other side of the garden. Within their sight, but out of their reach so to speak. "Tomorrow's the day..." She muttered.
