Watching Malphus' reaction to what she was said was both relieving and amusing, she didn't know how much self control he normally had, but the look on his face almost had her giggling, though she had enough self control to contain herself perfectly. That wasn't a reaction she got often, if she was perfectly honest, she didn't think she ever got that reaction to any variation of her tale, though she wasn't going to do a full memory search just for that. "I'm not from this universe." She corrected, wanting to make sure that he had the distinction down. You could come from a different planet and still be from the same universe, her case however was rather different. Still, she wasn't going to dwell on that issue if she didn't have to. "Wait until I get more used to the local variations in base tastes and available tools, if I'll stick around long enough, you'll get to see what I can really do in a kitchen." She moved on with a smirk, then leaned back in her chair, tilting her head back and contemplating the ceiling at his question. Should she tell him more? How much was too much?

"I'm not sure what else to tell you." She said after a moment, leaning forward and locking her mismatched eyes with his own. "As I said, knowledge about me can be dangerous, even in this world where no one has heard of my kind, or even my parent races." Ryala sighed. "I don't want to put you in danger Malphus... people have died just because they knew of me before... and from what little I've been able to piece together since I awoke, your life isn't exactly easy as it is. There are... things... out there, in the wider Multi-verse, things the people here might have not ever imagined, that might one day come here for me no matter what I do. It might be days from now, it might take centuries... it may never happen... but even without that... it sounds like in this world, some might come after me just because of what I am..." She shrugged. "I'm a lot of trouble Malphus, are you sure you want to get involved with that? I doubt that you'd want to gamble with your life just for some mind-blowing sex with an alien girl, because at this point, there's not much else I could offer you."

Well, there was one thing, but, not yet, that was both a blessing and a curse, and Ryala herself didn't know if she was ready to offer her Pledge to anyone, and she didn't know if Malphus truly deserved it one way or another at this point. She had the feeling that he could be the right kind of person to be her Partner, that she could be his Breaker, but she didn't know for sure so soon. It wasn't a joke to say that being bonded to a Breaker could be more intimate than being the closest of married lovers, and this could be the case regardless of gender.
