Morinda wore an expression of legitimate surprise, having just thrown a wild guess at Kim. "Oh, well no. I mean, it was just a lucky guess, I suppose." the young vampire said with a shrug. "Even after smelling your blood's aroma, I can't really find a scent on you. It's not like we vampires have theĀ best noses around, but still..." the girl said, now smiling a little. Meanwhile, Braith's attention was certainly grabbed after Kim's little stunt, and she was silently fuming to herself at the base of the hill, undetected by Morinda.

"So... An actual wizard... That's cool." Morinda complimented the young man, looking down at her lap. "I guess you've been pretty isolated your whole life, right? What, with your studies and all." she said, figuring that a wizard would have to spend a lot of time reading scrolls in his tower. It would explain his reaction to meeting a vampire for the first time, the poor guy probably had social anxieties.
