Braith blinked when Kim asked what he would do if someone asked him to change, only to give him an apathetic stare. "Then don't." she said, figuring it would be enough for Kim if he simply refused to use his 'power'. When he expressed his objection to her calling him plain, she just laughed. "Well yeah, it's not like you're a ten-foot-tall green man with spikes coming out of his arms." the girl said, hopefully convincing him that, compared to most of the people in town, he was certainly quite plain.

"That's the spirit!" the girl said with a grin when Kim decided it was best to get outside as soon as possible to get over with the stress of being outside. "Just stick with me and don't stare at other people. Acting like you don't belong will just make them suspicious." Braith said, picking up Kim's unfinished plate. "You done? Must not have been very hungry..." she mused, bringing his plate to the sink. "I'll be ready in a minute." she said to him.
