Morinda didn't listen to Kim's words, simply indulging herself in his blood. She seemed to love every second of it, moaning quietly to herself from how it tasted. He eventually broke away from her, however, leaving her with an unsatisfied look. "Wait, Kim, I-" she started, apparently not wanting him to leave just yet. Of course, to him, it would sound like she just wanted more blood, but in actuality, there was something very important she had to say. This time, she didn't give up and let him leave, she had to chase him down.

At that moment, Kim would enter the pitch black room upstairs, which was guarded by a large, ornate door. It was far too dark to see anything in there, but after just a few seconds, the dead silence was broken by a noise... It was quiet at first, but was definitely getting closer. It sounded large and slick, a sound comparable to Sylvia's tail. Before Kim could even register what it was, however, the door was opened once more. Morinda's arm grabbed him and threw him out of the room with great strength, slamming the door shut as soon as he was out.

"Idiot." she said, turning to look at the young man. His arms was bleeding profusely, leaking with the red liquid at an alarming rate. There was a trail of the stuff leading down the hall all the way to the foyer, not just occasional drops, but a continuous trail of splotches. "Hold still." Morinda said, licking the stream of blood off of his arm until she reached the wound, which she then nibbled for a second. Not wanting to freak him out, she then pulled back immediately. To his surprise, the gushing stream of blood had stopped all at once, dried up just as it had been after Sylvia fixed it before. "... There." the vampire said with a sigh. "Running away from a vampire while it's feeding on you is stupid." she accused him with an apathetic look. "Our saliva prevents clotting. When we bite you open, it won't stop bleeding. Until we sprinkle some of our own blood on it, of course." she said, explaining why his blood was able to flow so rich after running away from her. "... I'm really sorry about that..." she then said, looking down with a guilty sigh.
