The pink-haired snake girl tilted her head when Kim began stuttering all over the place, sighing once he was done. The sigh was partially out of relief, but also of slight concern, as he obviously was still shaken up by whatever initially bothered him. "Oh, the poor thing... Look, he's shaking. Can I get you something? Some fresh tea, maybe?" she asked, seeming very kind compared to his original assumption of the monsters in the area. Mavis noticed his glance toward her, and returned a look of reassurance. "I think he'll be fine. He just needs to relax a little. Isn't that right, Kim?" she asked, figuring that talking to him would calm him down.

This whole time, the pale-skinned girl was staring at Kim with a look of intrigue, and what seemed to be a sort of desire... She wanted something from him. The snake girl spoke up again at that point. "Your name is 'Kim'? Oh, I like that name! I'm Sylvia Adderson. I'm a Lamia!" she said, waving her tail proudly behind her. "There aren't many of us around, these days, so I guess it makes sense that you were surprised to see me." she reasoned with a smile. The pale girl stayed silent.
