"Eat you? Now why in the world would I do that?" the young woman asked, tilting her head curiously. She had cleaned up his wound well, but without even realizing what she'd done, the boy soon passed out. "H-Hey, are you...? Um, hello?! Ohhhh, dear..." she mumbled nervously, hoping she wasn't solely responsible for his loss of consciousness.

Kim would be forcefully woken up again, this time by a splash of water. He was sitting inside a building, this one much more quaint and normal than the Hocus sisters' mansion. "Did it work?" the snake woman asked, who was standing a few feet away. The person responsible for dumping cold water on his head was Braith, whose evil look was now gone. "Yeah, he's up." she said. Mavis was also nearby, sighing to herself. "Good. Kim, you really shouldn't be running all over the place. Who knows what might happen if you run into trouble?" she asked. Mavis turned around to the pale-skinned girl from the sidewalk, who was also standing nearby. "Thanks for the help, we probably would have never found him without you pointing us in the right direction." the older witch said. The pale girl shrugged. "No problem." the girl said plainly.

"So... Who is he?" the snake girl chimed in once more. Mavis scratched her head and answered untruthfully. "He's a friend of ours... He's um, visiting from far away, and I guess he's not handling the change of scenery very well." she said. The snake girl slithered over to Kim and leaned forward again. "Are you alright? I'm really sorry for frightening you... It's my fault you passed out, isn't it...?" she asked, looking quite sad that she caused this.
