Mavis sighed a little when Kim asked what else he would be, as she knew there was a whole slew of possibilities. "Well, um... You could be a lot of things." she offered, answering his question in a surprising manner. Finally, he asked where he was. The woman could tell how scared he was to be in this situation, and based on what she'd been talking about with Braith, she could tell he was in shock. "Well, um... Try not to panic, but... You're in a different world than your own, the World of Halloween." she said, looking down at him with an empathetic frown. "This is our home. Me and Braith are... Well, we're witches. I know you have a lot of questions, but I'll start by answering a few, just... Try and relax." she said, not wanting him to freak out.

"Um... A long time ago, our world used to coexist with yours. The people here enjoyed seeing humans, and the humans were always curious about us. Humans would take trips to this realm through portals, and we would use spells to send creatures from the Halloween world to live in yours. But, uh... Not all humans liked us, and as time went on, more and more of your people came to despise us, calling us 'monsters'. They demonized us and burned us at the stake, or hunted us down." she said, explaining the story behind all the superstition back in the human world. "So we severed the connections between our worlds and destroyed the portals. Now, humans are despised by the general public. I'm not short-minded enough to hate you without knowing you, so you don't have to worry... But a lot of people here are stuck in the old ways, you won't be so fortunate with them." she said.

"Human interaction is punishable by death. I suggest that you hide your identity until we figure out a way to get you home." she said. "Now... What is your name?" she asked, wanting to hear some input from her guest.
