The stranger looked at Isa for a split second, knowing he'd get a frightened reaction from these phoenix children. He didn't take much notice of her until he noticed her blue hair, and his eyes widened a bit. He nodded understandingly, then looked at the boy called Edwin. "Please, don't fear me, I mean no harm. I'm just a simple traveler looking for a place to stay."

"Stay back Isa." Scowled Edwin, in his best attempt to be brave. He could tell that the man was lying, there was uncertainty in his voice, as if he was making part of that story up.
