Edwin ran out of his small house, a bruise on his left cheek. He had gotten into a fight with his father, about his future. Edwin insisted he didn't want anything to do with fighting, or violent nonsense such as that. As usual his Father had hit him in the mouth, and told him to get out of his sight. It wasn't really abuse, as it was just one simple hit, however it was enough to make the boy afraid of his father.

He decided to move onward, to the only person who had ever accepted him. As the cowardly boy walked through the village, he had heard word about there being a traveler in town. He heard some villagers snickering, saying how Edwin would get along with another human. After a few hours, the boy snuck into a huge mansion. It was obvious that he had done this before, as he knew all of the breach points. Eventually he snuck his way into the garden, and snuck up behind a girl staring at a lake.

"Hey, Isa..." He whispered shakily, so that the guard's wouldn't know he had been there. He knew that it was wrong to sneak in... But he HAD to talk to his sister. He still felt like he shouldn't be doing this, that he could get caught, however this was the only risk he'd even make.
